As our homes have become more connected, we knew we needed to create a subscription plan to help protect not just your property, but the wifi your homes run on as well. The new Ring Protect Pro subscription offers peace of mind — both for your home and your life online — starting at $20/month or $200/year per location. Here’s what’s included in the new plan:
It’s like an entire emergency support team for your Ring Alarm or Alarm Pro security system. Be it break-ins, smoke, or a medical issue, 24/7 professional monitoring1 lets you request emergency assistance around-the-clock.
Here’s what happens if your alarm is triggered: first, it sounds the siren and sends a signal to the monitoring center. You’ll get a notification in the Ring App, too, that something is happening at home. Next, the monitoring center will give you and your emergency contacts a call to see if you need help. If you confirm or do not answer, they can call first responders to your address. If something happens when you’re home, you can also manually send the alert to the monitoring team in the Ring App, from your Alarm Keypad or a Panic Button.
Save adorable family memories that happen at your front door, or share important footage with your neighbors, insurance company or local authorities in case of a security or safety event. With Ring Protect Pro, recordings from all of your Ring Video Doorbells and Security Cameras at one location are stored in the cloud for up to 180 days, so you can watch, share, and download them anytime.
Whether you’re working at home or watching a movie with the family, you need an internet connection you can count on. That’s where 24/7 Backup Internet3 for Alarm Pro comes in. If your internet goes down, Backup Internet will kick in to keep the devices on your Alarm Pro wifi network online. You’ll get 3GB of cellular data per month included, and you can opt in to Extra Data to stay online longer. It's $3/GB and you only pay for what you use. The backup connection will also help keep your security devices online and ready to protect in the event of an internet outage.

2 To keep videos beyond your trial, subscribe to Ring Protect, which allows videos to be stored in the cloud temporarily, up to 180 days. Video storage defaults to 60 days. Changing your video storage time will only affect videos that are recorded after you adjust your storage time setting.
