Ring at CES: A Look At What’s Coming in 2019
By Ring on January 11, 2019
Another year, another Consumer Electronics Show in the books! It's always an exciting time to highlight everything coming at Ring and all the new ways we're working towards making neighborhoods safer.
Didn't attend this year? Don't fret—we've got the latest in this recap!
A New Point of View
The newest addition to our Video Doorbell family is the Door View Cam. With the Door View Cam, you have the ability to transform your door viewer into a smart security device. It's easy to install and replaces your existing peephole without causing any permanent changes to your door, making it a great solution for homes, apartments, condos and even dorms with an existing peephole. You still have the traditional functionality of a door viewer, plus you gain features such as motion detection, Two-Way Talk, 1080p HD video, Night Vision, a removable, rechargeable battery and the the ability to see who's at your front door from anywhere.
Want to see what’s happening at your front door from the comfort of your kitchen? Just ask Alexa. When you're alerted that motion has been detected at your front door, simply ask select Alexa-enabled devices to show you your front door. You'll be able to see and speak with visitors through Echo Show, Echo Spot or Alexa-enabled tablets.
Ring Door View Cam will be available later this year.
New Sensors, Smart Locks and Voice Control
Ring Alarm is expanding to make your home smarter and safer. The newest accessories not only protect your home against break-ins, but also property damage and life-threatening situations.
