Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro, Our Most Advanced Outdoor Security Camera Yet
By Ring on April 7, 2021
In a major update to a device that you’ve come to love, we’ve designed the new Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro to include our latest 3D Motion Detection technology and Bird’s Eye View, giving you additional information about what’s happening outside your home and more power to protect your property.
“Four years ago, we reinvented the ordinary floodlight with our original Ring Floodlight Cam, and now we’re bringing more cutting-edge features to this device with Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro,” says Jamie Siminoff, founder and Chief Inventor of Ring. “By expanding our 3D Motion Detection technology and Bird’s Eye View to Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro, we’re giving customers greater insight about what’s taking place on their property for additional peace of mind."
More Power To Protect Your Property
Whether you’re home or away, you want to know what's going on around your property. With Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro, you can check on your backyard or driveway, in real time no matter where you are. And you’ll get instant notifications when something, or someone is moving in front of the camera up to 30 feet away.
The more you know about the comings and goings around your home the better, so we’ve built the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro with the latest motion detection technology. Available for the first time on a Ring security camera, 3D Motion Detection pinpoints the precise distance to the moving object and enables Bird’s Eye View, giving you an aerial map of the path someone took on your property.
And alongside Customizable Motion Zones and Privacy Zones, 3D Motion Detection makes it even easier to exclude areas with a lot of activity—like a busy street or a sidewalk in front of your house—so you only get the Motion Alerts that are most relevant to you.
Your Favorite Features in a Security Camera With Lights
Like all Ring security cameras and video doorbells, Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro lets you see and speak to visitors from anywhere. And thanks to the 1080p HD video with a wide 140-degree field of view, HDR, and Color Night Vision, you can get a crisp picture on your phone during the day, and even in the dark. Don’t forget, for extra illumination for your yard at night, the camera has two built-in ultra-bright, LED floodlights activated by motion. You can also turn them on and off manually from your Ring App and even create a custom schedule for your floodlights to turn on at dusk and off at dawn or at any other times you’d like.
So you can hear your visitors more clearly, we’ve added Audio+ with an array microphone for enhanced audio and echo cancellation. And if you want to let any unwanted guests know they're not welcome, you can turn on the security siren right from the Ring App.
When you’re home, you’ll have even more options to check what’s going on outside when you link your Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro to Alexa. Simply say, “Alexa, show me the backyard,” and enjoy hands-free home monitoring with select Alexa-supported devices.
If you add a Ring Protect subscription, you can review, save, and share the videos from your Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro for up to 1801 days. You’ll also get advanced features like People Only Mode, which only notifies you about motion caused by people, and Snapshot Capture, which automatically takes still images at intervals during the day so you can review what’s happened in front of your camera, even in between events.
