Announcing Ring Pet Portraits: Join Ring and Drew Barrymore to Help Support Shelter Animals Across the U.S.
By Ring on May 13, 2024
To pet parents, their furry friends are everything…they’re truly part of the family! And Ring gets it. Every day, Ring doorbells and cameras help these pet parents capture countless adorable moments and stay close to pets while away from home. But what about the millions of companion animals that are in shelters without a home?
During National Pet Month, Ring is teaming up with ultimate pet mom Drew Barrymore to help drive donations to the ASPCA and local animal pet shelters across the country, and you can help. Beginning now through June 14, for every pet video or picture post submitted with hashtag #RingPets on Instagram or TikTok, Ring will pledge a $10 donation, up to $100,000, to support the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) and up to an additional $400,000 to local animal shelters across the U.S. in an ongoing effort to find animals loving homes.
That’s right - we want to see everything your pets have got from the sweet head turns when they hear mom’s voice using the Two-Way Talk camera feature, to a full 360-degree view on Ring’s new Pan Tilt Indoor Cam of the mess they made at home. Because we know there’s one thing pet parents have in common - the desire to share unexpected and delightful moments captured on camera with anyone who will watch.
And there’s a fun, pet-tastic twist. If you think your pet is destined for fame, eligible submissions can make your pet eligible to appear in an upcoming Ring commercial. How’s the winner chosen? Drew will team up with the ASPCA to help choose one lucky winner. Check out the official rules for a full list of eligibility requirements.

Update, August 2024:
We have a winner! Congratulations to Madison and her 4-year-old German Shepherd, Allie Beth, who caught our attention with this adorable video! After a day at the beach, Allie Beth needed a bath before Madison would let her back inside the house, and it was then that the real fun began! Allie Beth may not have enjoyed the hose down, but drying off was another story. Take a look at these post-bath zoomies. Could she be any cuter?
This spring, we donated half a million dollars to the ASPCA and local animal shelters across the U.S. as part of our Pet Portraits campaign. Customers shared videos and photos of their pets on social media, and along with the help of our partners Drew Barrymore and the ASPCA, we selected Allie to be featured in a future Ring commercial!
