Preston was tending to his backyard when he noticed his son's rubber snake toy near the swing set. After expertly carrying out the prank, Preston quickly reviewed the footage from his home security camera. He was pleased to discover that his Ring device had recorded the entire incident.

Granny's Little Goof

DeYoure and Dairyon look forward to visiting their grandparents several times a month. This time, when the girls arrived and rang the Ring Video Doorbell, their grandma Sylvia decided to have a bit of fun with them. The girls' delightful reaction was preserved thanks to the grandparents' Ring Home subscription. "We were overjoyed that the moment was captured," says grandpa Darion. "We shared it with family members and they loved it."

Howling Hijinks

Aaron wasn't home when he checked a notification from his Ring Video Doorbell and saw a person wearing a wolf mask on his porch, howling and taking a package from his doorstep. At first, he was surprised, but then he realized it was his neighbor Elias. “I was out of town and asked him to put my packages in the garage, so he thought it would be funny to wear a wolf mask and try and scare me,” Aaron recalls. “I got the Ring [Video Doorbell] a few months ago. I love the fact that I can check up on my house when I'm out of town.”

Box of Tricks

When Trudy saw the giant cardboard box on the living room floor, she knew what she had to do: hatch an ingenious practical joke. When her son subsequently walked into the room, he was completely oblivious to the surprise awaiting him. “I actually forgot about the camera initially,” Trudy says. ”Then suddenly, [I] realized it sat on the shelf.”

Pool Hose Hijinks

Joseph's family completed renovations to their deck and pool just in time for summer. While spending time on the new deck, Joseph's mom was busy cleaning the pool. Suddenly, Joseph decided to playfully spray his mom with the pool hose. At first, Joseph's mom assumed it was her other son, Ozzie, who had doused her. But after reviewing the footage from their Ring device, she realized it was actually Joseph behind the prank and had a good laugh.
