Celebrate Father’s Day With These Heartwarming Moments

By Ring on May 28, 2025

Father’s Day is almost here, and it’s the perfect time to celebrate the dads who show up, day in and day out. They’re the ones we run to when they walk through the door after a long day, the ones who fix what’s broken, make us laugh when we need it most, and keep everything steady when life gets messy. Join us in honoring the reliable, fun, and fiercely loved fathers in our lives with these heartfelt tributes from our community.

One More Hug

For the past ten years, Tyler has worked as an ironworker—one of the toughest, most physically demanding jobs out there. He knows better than most how hard the days can be, which is why saying goodbye to his sons, Isaiah and Hudson, is never taken for granted. On this particular morning, just as he was heading out the door, the family’s Ring camera caught something special: Isaiah running outside for one last hug. It was a simple, yet powerful moment—a reminder of the love that fuels fathers like Tyler every day, and especially on Father’s Day.

Ender’s Personal Voicemail

Jeremy and his son Ender are big fans of Ring—especially their Ring Video Doorbell Pro. Because Jeremy travels often for work, the device has become more than just a camera; it's their way of staying close, even from far away. Jeremy originally installed it for peace of mind, expecting it to be just a security tool. But for Ender, it’s a connection point. In this video, watch as he leaves his dad a message on the doorbell. When Jeremy tunes in, they use Two-Way Talk to share a moment this dad will never forget.

Dad Comforts and Encourages New Big Brother

When Samantha's husband got the call that she was in labor, their 5-year-old son Wesley was overwhelmed with emotion at the news that he was finally going to be a big brother. The touching moment was captured by their Ring Video Doorbell, and as Samantha recalls, upon seeing their father-son bond, she immediately burst into tears.

“[It’s] so beautiful and [I’m] forever thankful I was able to see it,” Samantha says. Thanks to her Ring Home Subscription1, sold separately, she was able to save and share the video—a moment so heartfelt, she says it “made all the nurses at the hospital cry.”

The Greatest Welcome Party

These two kids knew exactly how to make their dad’s day. When Kensor arrived home, four-year-old Ava and six-year-old Brock came running to greet him, bursting with excitement. Their joy was pure and unfiltered—just take a look for yourself!

“It feels so good to know that [they had] been waiting all day to see me,” Kensor says. In the future, he looks forward to capturing even more moments of childlike glee via the family’s Ring Floodlight Cam and other devices.

Dad Makes His 10-Month-Old Giggle

After a long day at work, Jonathan picked up his 10-month-old daughter Cynthia from daycare and headed home. As they reached the front door, he gently encouraged Cynthia to say hi to her mom, Jennifer—right in view of their Ring Video Doorbell! Jennifer, who was still at work, later saw the moment and was deeply moved.

“When I see uplifting videos shared by Ring, it gives me hope that [...] the world is full of positivity,” she says. Inspired by that sentiment, she decided to share this sweet moment from her own family, spreading a little joy from her corner of the world.

Summer Fun, Dad Style

On a sunny summer day, Rami and his 2-year-old son Matthew turned washing the family car, an everyday chore, into an exciting activity. As they washed their 2015 Dodge Durango, little Matthew took control of the power washer for the first time—an adorable moment you have to see to believe!

“I work a lot, so I don’t get to do [this] as often as I would like,” Rami says, but the weather and timing were so perfect that they couldn’t resist. Think about it - is there any better way to spend an afternoon with dad?

This Father’s Day, take a moment to appreciate the steady presence of the dads in your life. Whether he’s just down the hall or miles away, reach out and let him know how much he means to you — for all the ways he shows up, and all the ways he makes life better.
